Singing Club
The weekly Singing Club is for children who want to have fun and develop as a singer whilst singing with others! Singing is a great mood booster and at Singing Club you get to sing in a small group with guidance and individual feedback.
Within lessons, students will work on different songs and there will be performance opportunities scheduled throughout the year.

The weekly Singing Club is an opportunity for children to have singing tuition in a small group setting. The small group allows for students to have some individual feedback whilst also learning and having fun with others who enjoy singing!
There will also be some performance opportunities to take part in which will be arranged usually in the Autumn and Summer term.
What will I do in a lesson?
Singing Club is focused mainly around having fun but we also look at learning technique within singing and this may be on some or all of the following:
Posture
Breath control and breathing techniques (diaphragm, lungs, lower abdominal muscles)
Resonance
Articulation and diction
Inflection and Intonation
Placement
Pitch
Phrasing
Dynamics
Sheet Music
Music theory
Acting through song
Body language, gesture and facial expressions
Projection
Performance technique
What should I bring with me to a lesson?
Just yourself and a willingness to learn! Materials such as sheet music or backing tracks will be arranged for you. It is also good preparation to bring your own water bottle to stay hydrated. For new starters, a couple of forms will need to be completed by the parent of the student before they begin.
